How To Find and Give Weapons to the Earth Sprite in Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces Sprites, helpful apparitions offering players valuable items and abilities. The Earth Sprite, while the most beneficial, is also the most elusive. This guide reveals how to locate and interact with the Earth Sprite to obtain rewards.

Fortnite Earth Sprite Locations

The Earth Sprite appears exclusively on the Chapter 6 map in the main Battle Royale mode, including Zero Build and Ranked variants. It can spawn in approximately two dozen locations, each marked by a distinctive lantern (similar to the one pictured above, north of Burd). However, only two Earth Sprites spawn per match, requiring players to search multiple potential locations.

Giving Weapons to the Earth Sprite

Finding the Earth Sprite is the challenge. Once located, simply hold the interact button while facing it. This will give the Sprite your currently equipped weapon, completing the Week 1 Quest and awarding 25,000 XP. Note that you will lose the weapon given, but receive a random Legendary rarity weapon in return.
