Warcraft Mounts Get Recolored Editions

Two exclusive WoW mounts, the Blazing Royal Fire Hawk and the Golden Ashes of Al'ar, are coming to World of Warcraft China. These mounts, inspired by the rare Pureblood Fire Hawk and Ashes of Al'ar, will be available through special promotions starting January 15th.

The Blazing Royal Fire Hawk, reminiscent of its predecessor, boasts auspicious clouds within its wings while soaring. The Golden Ashes of Al'ar, a gilded version of the original, features a sleek black saddle and evocative flavor text referencing Kael'thas Sunstrider's iconic quote: "The golden Al'ar, beloved pet of Kael'thas Sunstrider, proves that death is merely a setback."

These mounts are obtainable through separate promotions: the Treasure Workshop for the Blazing Royal Fire Hawk and Landro's Loot Box (¥200, approximately $27) for the Golden Ashes of Al'ar. The Loot Box offers a chance at various rewards, including other rare mounts like the X-51 Nether Rocket X-TREME and the Swift Spectral Tiger. Team purchases offer bonus crates.

Currently, there's no indication of a global release for these mounts, leaving players outside China to admire them from afar. This release follows the successful return of World of Warcraft to China after a partnership renewal between NetEase and Blizzard.
