Video: Evelyn Gameplay, the new stripping heroine from Zenless Zone Zero

Zenless Zone Zero's developers, miHoYo (HoYoverse), continue to expand the game's roster. A new trailer showcases the highly anticipated heroine, Evelyn Chevalier.

Evelyn, even before her official release, captured the hearts of many players thanks to beta testers revealing a unique battle quirk: she partially disrobes, discarding her cape to assail her foes.

Evelyn is an S-rank Fire-elemental Assault character. She'll be featured in Zenless Zone Zero's 1.5 update's second banner alongside Nicole, Anton, and Qingyi.

The 1.5 update has launched, and miHoYo (HoYoverse) is distributing Polychromes as compensation. Players will receive 300 Polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements related to the update. These rewards are delivered via in-game mail.

Evelyn's gameplay centers on focused targeting. Her basic attacks draw enemy attention, enabling extended attack chains. During multi-stage or special attacks, she binds her primary target with "Forbidden Bounds." Her skills inflict damage while generating Tribal Threads and Scorch Points, fueling powerful fire-based abilities that inflict substantial damage. Her signature move, discarding her cape at opponents, has already made her a fan favorite among those who followed pre-release leaks.
