Following the March 10th update to *Fields of Mistria*, the path to the Fire Seal is finally open! But be warned, unlocking this fiery barrier requires a specific set of offerings: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Let's break down how to acquire each item.
This rare artifact is nestled within the depths of Fields of Mistria's mines. Ensure your game is updated, then delve into the mines, specifically floors 50-59. We discovered ours on floor 56, but be prepared for some digging! Use your pickaxe or shovel to unearth this gem from marked spots on the ground. Be warned: it's a rare find, so prepare to spend some time exploring.
Rockroot is a more common forageable plant found on floors 50-59 of the mines. If you're a regular miner, you might already have one! Look for a dark, root-like plant (as pictured above). You only need one to appease the Priestess.
The Emerald is the easiest offering to obtain. These geodes are relatively common on floors 50-59 of the mines. You can also find them by breaking large boulders throughout Mistria, purchase them cheaply (200 tesserae) from Balor's Wagon, or craft them at the Stone Refinery (unlocked via the March 2025 update).
The Sealing Scroll is obtained through a quest triggered by speaking with Juniper after discovering the Fire Seal. She'll enlist Balor's help, but this comes at a cost:
You likely have many of these materials already. If not, the mines are your best bet. Once gathered, deposit them in the bin near Balor's Wagon.
Once you've collected the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot, return to floor 60 of the mines and make your offering. The Fire Seal will open, revealing a new biome and exciting Early Access content.
