Streets of Rage 4 Developers Announce New Game

Dotemu, in collaboration with Guard Crush Games and Supamonks, proudly presents Absolum, a thrilling fantasy beat 'em up infused with roguelite elements. Set in the ravaged world of Talamh, where a magical cataclysm has left its mark, fear of magic runs rampant. King-Sun Azra, the ruthless ruler, capitalizes on this fear, enslaving mages through his oppressive Crimson Order. A band of courageous heroes—the necromancer Galandra, the rebellious gnome Karl, the mage Brom, and the enigmatic Sidr—dare to challenge his tyrannical reign.

Prepare for intense, action-packed combat featuring upgradable abilities, devastating combos, and potent magical spells. Absolum offers both thrilling solo adventures and cooperative gameplay, allowing players to team up, combine attacks, and unleash synchronized strikes for maximum impact.

The game's soundtrack promises an unforgettable auditory experience, masterfully composed by a trio of legendary artists: Gareth Coker (renowned for his work on Ori and Halo Infinite), Yuka Kitamura (whose credits include Dark Souls and Elden Ring), and Mick Gordon (the visionary behind the soundtracks of DOOM Eternal and Atomic Heart).
