Stellar Blade is getting into the holiday spirit with a festive update launching December 17th! This update brings Christmas cheer to Xion, offering new outfits, decorations, and a mini-game. Let's dive into the details.

New Holiday Attire and Customization:

Eve and other characters sport brand new holiday-themed outfits:

• Santa Dress (Eve)
• Rudolph Pack (Drone)
• I’m No Santa (Adam)

Eve's festive look can be further personalized with a Santa Girl hairstyle and accessories like Snow Crystal Glasses, Wreath Earrings, and Sleigh Ear Cuffs.

Festive Xion and a Holiday Mini-Game:

Xion itself transforms into a winter wonderland, adorned with warm lights and festive decorations. The Last Gulp and Eve's camp also receive the holiday treatment, complete with seasonal BGM ("Dawn (Winter)" and "Take me away"). A new mini-game, involving a holiday-themed drone target, promises special rewards. Details on the mini-game mechanics and prizes are still forthcoming.

Control Your Festive Fun:

A new option lets players toggle seasonal events on or off, including the Nier:Automata DLC. This is accessible in the game's Settings under Gameplay, offering three choices:

• Auto: Seasonal content automatically enabled or disabled based on the current season.
• Disable: Deactivates seasonal content regardless of the season.
• Enable: Activates seasonal content regardless of the season.

Note: Changing this setting requires a game restart from the most recent save.

Mixed Reception:

While the update has been largely well-received, with many fans embracing the "Christmas Eve" moniker for the protagonist, some players have expressed concerns about the frequency of event updates in a single-player game with a relatively short playtime (around 30 hours). The need to restart the game to fully experience the seasonal content has also drawn criticism.
