Talk to Professor Lodochka at Wild Island

Proceed to the Wild Island mission marker, locating Professor Lodochka at Quite’s Camp. Expect an immediate priority: eliminating mercenaries marked on your map. These enemies are readily visible, but prepare for further encounters. Use strong equipment. Eliminating them reveals Lodochka's location, unlocking the optional "Activate the Ventilation System" objective.

Activate the Ventilation System

Consult your map. Locate a fuse, then follow the marker north to the engineering rooms. Beware an invisible enemy within. Reach the engine room, use the fuse to restore power to the ventilation system, and continue the main mission. While this objective offers no unique rewards, it simplifies subsequent tasks.

Find the Signal Source

Acquire better weaponry before proceeding. At the marked location (a cave entrance near water), navigate westward through the caverns, overcoming obstacles and using a broken pipe to reach higher levels. Locate a large cone-shaped spire; the emitter is at the marked point beside it. An invisible enemy awaits on your return journey. Finally, report back to Professor Lodochka to complete the mission and unlock "Hornet's Nest."
