Rivals Update 9 Introduces the Gunblade and Bridge Map as Nosniy Prepares to Add Ranked Mode

Roblox's Rivals FPS experience receives Update 9, introducing the Gunblade and Bridge map. Developer Nosniy Games' patch notes highlight these additions, along with minor skin modifications and weapon renamings. This update is smaller than recent releases, focusing primarily on new content.

The Gunblade, a versatile rifle-blade hybrid, is a standout addition, particularly effective in close-quarters combat. The new Bridge map, a Seoul-based arena created by @GreatGuyBoom, enhances this close-range gameplay with its limited space and concrete obstacles.

Notably, Update 9 omits bug fixes and balance adjustments, a deliberate choice by the developers to prioritize the new map and weapon. Minor skin tweaks to the Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi, and renaming of several Hexxed-themed items to Vexed, are included. The team assures players that these improvements, along with the highly anticipated Ranked mode, will be included in the next major update.

The developers emphasize listening to player feedback and promise to implement necessary changes before the Ranked mode launch.
