*Pokémon Unite* features a total of six ranks, each divided into multiple classes to facilitate sub-rank progression. The number of classes within each rank increases as you ascend, with higher ranks containing more classes than the lower ones. To progress, players must participate in ranked matches, as points earned from quick or standard matches do not contribute to rank advancement. Here's a breakdown of the ranks in *Pokémon Unite*:

  • Beginner Rank (3 Classes)
  • Great Rank (4 Classes)
  • Expert Rank (5 Classes)
  • Veteran Rank (5 Classes)
  • Ultra Rank (5 Classes)
  • Master Rank

Starting Out

Your journey begins at the Beginner Rank, which comprises three classes. To unlock ranked matches, players must reach Trainer Level 6, achieve a Fair Play score of 80, and acquire five Pokémon licenses. Once these prerequisites are met, you can dive into ranked matches and start your climb from the Beginner Rank.

Performance Points

In ranked matches, players earn Performance Points based on their performance. You can gain between 5-15 points depending on your score, 10 points for good sportsmanship, 10 points just for participating, and an additional 10-50 points depending on your winning streak. Each rank has a cap on Performance Points, and once reached, players earn 1 Diamond Point per match to help advance. Here are the Performance Point caps for each rank:

  • Beginner Rank: 80 Points
  • Great Rank: 120 Points
  • Expert Rank: 200 Points
  • Veteran Rank: 300 Points
  • Ultra Rank: 400 Points
  • Master Rank: N/A

Advancing and Advancement Rewards

Diamond Points are essential for advancing to higher classes and ranks. Four Diamond Points allow you to upgrade your class, and once you reach the highest class in your current rank, you'll move to the first class of the next rank. You earn one Diamond Point for each ranked match victory but lose one for each loss. Additionally, players with maxed-out Performance Points for their rank earn one Diamond Point per match.

At the end of each season, *Pokémon Unite* awards Aeos Tickets based on your rank, with higher ranks yielding more tickets. These tickets are used to purchase items and upgrades in the Aeos Emporium. Each season also introduces unique rewards for select ranks, adding an extra incentive to climb the ranks.

With this knowledge, you're well-equipped to tackle ranked matches and ascend through the classes and ranks of *Pokémon Unite*. Best of luck in your quest for dominance and the best rewards the game has to offer!

*Pokémon Unite is available now on mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch.*
