Get ready, Pokémon trainers! The Pokémon Company has announced a Pokémon Presents event next week, coinciding with Pokémon Day.
The announcement, shared on X/Twitter, confirms the event will stream on February 27th, 2025, at 6 AM Pacific Time (9 AM Eastern Time/2 PM UK time) on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.
While specifics remain under wraps, fans eagerly anticipate news about the next core Pokémon game, currently unannounced. Although a spin-off, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, is slated for a 2025 release, details on the next mainline generation are still pending.
The presentation will likely feature updates on existing titles, including Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters EX. We can also expect news regarding the recently launched Pokémon TCG Pocket and the physical trading card game.
Last year's Pokémon Presents, around the same time, unveiled Pokémon Legends: Z-A, new Tera Raid Battles for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and the mobile adaptation of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Unlike previous years with multiple events, 2024 saw only one Pokémon Presents, marking the first year since 2015 without a new mainline Pokémon game release.
