Pokemon TCG Pocket Space-Time Smackdown Release Date & Time Confirmed

The Pokémon TCG Pocket game is about to get a major update with the release of the Space-Time Smackdown expansion, following the successful launch of the Genetic Apex set. Here's a breakdown of what players can expect:

Space-Time Smackdown Release Date:

The Space-Time Smackdown expansion launches in Pokémon TCG Pocket on January 30th at 1:00 AM Eastern Time. Note that while some early announcements mentioned January 29th, the official Pokémon website and social media confirm the 30th. This discrepancy likely accounts for timezone differences.

Booster Pack Information:

Unlike Genetic Apex, which included three booster packs, Space-Time Smackdown will contain only two booster packs. These packs will feature Palkia and Dialga as their thematic focus, suggesting a strong emphasis on Generation IV Pokémon (Diamond and Pearl).
