Pokemon TCG Pocket introduces new Chimchar-themed accessories with second part of Wonder Pick event

The second part of Pokemon TCG Pocket's latest Wonder Pick event is now in full swing, and it's bringing a host of new goodies for fans to enjoy. Running until February 21st, this event introduces exciting new Chimchar-themed accessories along with a classic Poke Ball avatar icon. Plus, there are missions to tackle, ensuring you can collect all these fantastic new items.

If you're a Chimchar enthusiast, you're in for a treat. The event offers a range of themed items including a Chimchar Pokemon coin, card sleeve, and playmat featuring its evolutions, Monferno and Infernape. While Chimchar might not be everyone's favorite, these accessories add a fun and fiery touch to your collection. For those less enthused about flaming monkeys, the Poke Ball icon might catch your eye. It's a staple in any deck, and now it can adorn your avatar, though some might find it a bit on the plain side. Personally, I'm holding out for something more thrilling, like my current knitted Electrode avatar.

It's Monkey Business in Pokemon TCG Pocket

The missions for this event are straightforward but rewarding. Complete six Wonder Picks and collect 10 Fire and Psychic-Type cards to finish them off. Each Wonder Pick earns you 100 Trade Tokens, while completing the other missions will net you various amounts of Event Shop Tickets. With a bit of determination and the right tools, like Wonder Hourglass, you can quickly secure these rewards.

If you missed the first part of the event, don't worry—all the goodies from that segment are still up for grabs until February 21st. You can still pick up the Chimchar backdrop and cover, as well as the Cave of Crystals backdrop. And let's not forget the promo cards: a Chimchar and the adorably cute Togepi.
