Pokémon Go is bringing back the Bug Out event with Sizzlipede’s debut this time

The Pokémon Go Bug Out event is buzzing back from March 26th to 30th! This exciting event introduces Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch, alongside a flurry of Bug-type Pokémon. Get ready for wild encounters, raids, bonuses, and fresh challenges.

Lure Modules are key this time around. Not only will they attract Sizzlipede, but catching enough Pokémon at a single PokéStop using a Lure Module will significantly boost the number of Pokémon appearing there. You'll also enjoy 2x XP and extra Candy for Nice Throws or better, with increased Candy XL chances for Trainers level 31 and above. Shiny hunters, rejoice! Your chances of encountering Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede are boosted.

Expect a swarm of Bug-type Pokémon in the wild, including Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, Nymble, and possibly even a Cutiefly.

Sizzlipede will appear in one-star raids alongside Scyther and Nincada, while Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor take over three-star raids. Complete event-themed Field Research tasks for Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokémon.

A free Timed Research offers encounters with Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, plus a Lure Module.
