EA unveils Battlefield Labs, a closed beta testing program for upcoming Battlefield titles. This internal test will allow select players to experience core gameplay mechanics and concepts, some of which may not appear in the final game. Participants will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

Conquest and Breakthrough modes will be available during the testing phases. Initial focus will be on combat and the game's destruction system, followed by balance adjustments.

Pre-registration is open for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A limited number of players (a few thousand) will receive invitations in the coming weeks, with plans for broader regional access later.

The developers confirm the game is in a crucial development phase, though a release date remains unannounced. Development is a collaborative effort between DICE, Motive Studios, Criterion Games, and Ripple Effect Studios.
