Streamline your Path of Exile 2 looting experience with loot filters! These invaluable tools minimize on-screen clutter and highlight crucial items, significantly improving gameplay, especially on console. While using a controller or navigating item drops can be cumbersome, PlayStation and Xbox players can leverage the same filter functionality as PC users. Here's a concise guide to set up and utilize loot filters:

How to Link Path of Exile 2 and Console Accounts

To use loot filters on console, you must first link your console account to your Path of Exile account via the Path of Exile 1 website. Follow these steps:

  1. Access the Path of Exile website and log in.
  2. Locate your account name in the upper-left corner and click it.
  3. Select "Manage Account" from the right-side menu, below your profile information.
  4. Under "Secondary Login," click "Connect" for either PlayStation or Xbox.

You'll be redirected to log in with your existing console account. Complete the connection process to link your accounts.

Finding and Using Loot Filters

With your accounts linked, return to your profile page on the website and click the "Item Filters" button. Click the "Item Filter Ladder" hyperlink to access a list of available filters.

Select "PoE 2" from the dropdown menu above the filter list. Choose your preferred filter and click "Follow." For new players, NeverSink's semi-strict or regular filters offer a balanced approach.

After following a filter, open Path of Exile 2 and navigate to the Options menu. Under the "Game" tab, select the "Item Filter" option. Your chosen filter should appear in the dropdown menu. Select it and click "Save." Your loot filter is now active, modifying item labels, colors, and potentially sound effects based on your selection.
