Netflix Games: Interactive Fiction Hits Ginny & George, Sweet Magnolias

Netflix Stories is expanding its interactive fiction library with two exciting additions: Ginny & Georgia and Sweet Magnolias. Prepare to dive into original stories featuring beloved characters from these popular Netflix series, experiencing their worlds in a whole new way.

This marks another significant addition to the growing Netflix Stories catalogue, joining other interactive narratives based on hit shows like Emily in Paris and Outer Banks. Netflix Stories offers players the chance to step into the shoes of original characters within visually engaging, choice-driven narratives.

Ginny & Georgia and Sweet Magnolias are among the latest series to receive this interactive treatment, launching later this year. Existing Netflix Stories titles, including Love is Blind and Outer Banks, will also be enriched with brand new story entries, offering fans even more opportunities to engage with their favorite shows.

Netflix Games' continued focus on Stories is a smart move. Many of their series don't readily lend themselves to traditional game adaptations, but interactive fiction provides a compelling way to engage viewers and promote the Games service. While these new Stories entries coincide with new seasons of their respective shows, the timing could be improved. Ideally, these interactive experiences would launch concurrently with the new seasons for optimal cross-promotion.
