Monster Hunter Now will soon welcome the legendary elder dragon Kirin this Lunar New Year

Celebrate Lunar New Year in Monster Hunter Now! Niantic is hosting a special Lunar New Year event featuring exclusive gear and the return of fan-favorite items.

The event kicks off in February with the arrival of the powerful elder dragon, Kirin. Hunters will also have access to a new dragon-element light bowgun to aid in this challenging encounter.

Boost your hunting prowess with limited-time Lunar New Year packs containing layered equipment. This is your chance to snag some stylish new gear for the new year!

Returning items from 2024's event include the Lucky Dragon Hammer, Fortune Dragon Fans, and Dragon Dance Mask. These can be acquired through event quests or purchased directly. Defeating Gold Rathian, Pink Rathian, or Banbaro will also reward you with Tickets for select items, including the Lucky Light Bowgun.
