Monopoly GO has brought back the Sticker Drop minigame in January 2025, offering players a chance to earn sticker packs of various rarities—plus a Wild Sticker to finish their Jingle Joy album. Much like other Peg-E minigames, you’ll need to collect Peg-E tokens before you can begin. With multiple ways to gather these tokens, many players end up with leftovers even after securing the Wild Sticker. If you're curious about what happens to those extra Peg-E Tokens once Sticker Drop is over, here’s what you need to know.
Sticker Drop launched on January 5, 2025, and will run until January 7, 2025, wrapping up just before the next Tycoon Racers co-op event in Monopoly GO. Once the minigame concludes, any unused Peg-E tokens will disappear.
If you were hoping leftover tokens would convert into dice or cash, you’ll be disappointed. Extra Peg-E Tokens do not carry over, so be sure to spend them before the event ends on January 7.
That makes it smart to keep playing Sticker Drop while you can to maximize your rewards. A good strategy is to increase your token multiplier and drop your Peg-E chips carefully. Aim for the middle bumper—it often grants bonus rewards like extra Peg-E chips, dice rolls, cash, and sticker packs.

A higher token multiplier helps you earn more points with every chip you drop, allowing you to climb the milestones on the second page of the minigame. Running low on tokens? Here’s how to collect more:
Keep in mind: all unspent Peg-E Tokens will be removed when Sticker Drop ends.
While past events have removed unused Peg-E Tokens, Scopely could decide to convert leftovers into cash or dice. This isn’t guaranteed, so it’s safest to use your tokens during the current Sticker Drop event to get the most out of them.
