Marvel Snap introduces exciting Sanctum Showdown mode

Are you ready to ascend to the title of Sorcerer Supreme? Marvel Snap has just launched a thrilling limited-time mode called Sanctum Showdown, and it's set to captivate players for the next two weeks, until March 11th. This event introduces an innovative way to compete, featuring a unique win condition, a special Sanctum location, and brand-new snapping mechanics.

In the Sanctum Showdown mode, the usual gameplay until turn six is replaced with a race to 16 points. The Sanctum location is pivotal, offering the highest points each turn. Additionally, the snapping mechanics have been revamped: starting from turn three, you can snap once per turn to boost the Sanctum's value by one point, keeping the game's momentum dynamic and engaging.

Participating in a match will cost you one Scroll, but a victory will replenish your Scroll count, allowing the excitement to continue. You begin with 12 Scrolls and receive an additional two every eight hours. Should you deplete your Scrolls, you have the option to buy more for 40 Gold. Regardless of the match's result, your participation will contribute to your Sorcerer Rank and earn you Charms, which you can redeem in the Sanctum Shop for exclusive cosmetics or new cards.

Thinking of leveraging Captain Marvel or Dracula to turn the tide? Think again. To ensure fair play, certain cards and locations are banned from this mode. Abilities that affect final outcomes won't be effective here, and other cards like Debrii have been excluded to avoid one-sided strategies.
