Madame Bo is preparing to join Mortal Kombat 1

NetherRealm Studios has unveiled an exciting addition to the roster of Mortal Kombat 1 (MK1) with the introduction of Madame Bo as a new Kameo fighter. In the latest trailer, fans were treated to a display of her distinctive combat techniques, which include wielding bottles as weapons, blinding her adversaries, and concluding battles with a visually stunning Fatality that aligns perfectly with her tea-house theme. The trailer's impressive visuals are sure to leave a lasting impression on viewers.

Within the MK1 narrative, Madame Bo operates a tea house and plays a pivotal role as a mentor to both Kung Lao and Raiden. She is the second character to be introduced as part of the eagerly awaited upcoming DLC pack, following the earlier announcement of T-1000, who differs from Madame Bo by being a fully playable fighter.

An intriguing fan theory has emerged, suggesting that in the new timeline, Madame Bo could actually be Bo' Rai Cho. This speculation is fueled not only by the similarity in their names but also by shared elements such as their use of alcohol in combat and a common vice—Madame Bo's smoking habit. Given Liu Kang's role in reshaping character identities in the new game's storyline, this theory holds a compelling plausibility.

Madame Bo will become available on March 18 for those who own Kombat Pack 2 and Khaos Reigns, while the rest of the player base will be able to access her starting from March 25.
