KOF AFK Global Launch Anticipated Soon

The King of Fighters AFK is now available in early access for players in Thailand and Canada! Download it today from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Early access players are guaranteed to recruit Mature from the Orochi Clan.

This new mobile title, inspired by retro RPGs, offers a unique twist on the classic fighting game franchise. Unlike its predecessor, King of Fighters Allstar, KoF AFK features a distinct genre shift. However, it retains the beloved characters from the original series, allowing players to build diverse teams for 5v5 battles. Netmarble has confirmed that player progress will carry over to the full release.

A New Challenge for KoF Fans

KoF AFK faces the challenge of winning back fans after the closure of King of Fighters Allstar. While Allstar benefited from crossovers (like the WWE), KoF AFK takes a different approach. The game features Neo-Geo Pocket-inspired sprites, and early access players receive Mature, a powerful Orochi clan member. Whether this will be enough to satisfy fans remains to be seen.
