Genshin's Iansan and Varesa Make Official Debut

Genshin Impact's upcoming 5.5 update introduces two exciting new characters: the 5-star Electro Catalyst user, Varesa, and the 4-star Electro Polearm user, Iansan (previously an NPC).

MiHoYo has officially unveiled Varesa, a carefree adventurer with a hidden strength. As described by an in-game source:

"Varesa, my most peculiar student… No one matches her easygoing, carefree nature. No matter where she travels, she’s like a child on an adventure—always searching for delicious treats or a cozy spot to rest... But beware! If you ever fight Abyss monsters with her, the moment she gets into the zone, she turns into an unstoppable force!"

Iansan, a renowned Natlan trainer, is portrayed by Varesa as:

"Iansan is Natlan’s top trainer and the person I admire the most! People say I’m talented, but without her training, that talent would have gone to waste. Don’t worry if you’re not used to working out—Coach Iansan knows how to train anyone! Oh, by the way, wanna check out this flyer? She’s recruiting new students!"
