Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Beta Registration Opens

Netmarble is launching a regional closed beta test for their upcoming game, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, and a new gameplay trailer has just dropped, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the game's mechanics.

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Regional Closed Beta Dates

The closed beta test (CBT) begins next week, running from January 16th to January 22nd, 2025. Players in the U.S., Canada, and select European regions can participate, playing on either Windows or Android. Registration closes on January 12th, so don't delay if you want to be part of the testing team!

Set during the events of the show's fourth season, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad plunges you into the heart of Westeros' power struggles and betrayals. King Robert is dead, the Lannisters cling to the Iron Throne, and Stannis Baratheon prepares for war. The North still reels from the Red Wedding, and the Great Houses continue their treacherous schemes.

You'll play as the heir to House Tyre, a minor noble house from the North. Begin your journey by customizing your character using a detailed character creator, then choose from three distinct classes inspired by the series: the cunning Assassin, the honorable Knight, or the versatile Sellsword. Combat focuses on player-versus-player battles with full manual controls.

The game also introduces original characters inspired by Wildlings, Dothraki, and the enigmatic Faceless Men. With its gritty Westeros atmosphere, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad promises to capture the drama, betrayal, and epic scale of the HBO series.
