Fantasian Neo Dimension: Mastering the Tachyon Medal

Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a captivating world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's devastating "Zero" plan. The game's compelling narrative and innovative gameplay create a truly immersive experience. A crucial late-game element is the Tachyon Medal, integral to a challenging and extensive side quest. This guide details how to acquire and utilize this powerful item.

Locating the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, serving as the final item obtained before the final boss encounter. To acquire it, progress through the main storyline until reaching Sanctum, situated in the God Realm via the Communication Network. Within the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. Be prepared for its frequent enemy summons and the "Consume" attack, which inflicts significant damage (90% health reduction). Kina's healing abilities are essential, and equipping Petrification Null gear is highly recommended.

Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves effective against summoned foes, and Cherryl's Concentrate and Charge abilities deliver substantial damage. After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory through the Balcony. Amidst the debris, locate a chest on your right – it contains the Tachyon Medal.

Utilizing the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's function unfolds in two stages. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, complete the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These three stars appear across eight locations; the initial two are part of the main story:

  1. En New District
  2. Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
  3. Royal Capital - Main Street
  4. Frozen Tundra - Center
  5. Hidden Valley – Duet Path
  6. Ancient Hill – River
  7. Nameless Island – Depths
  8. Shangri-La – Fallen City

Defeat the bosses in the specified order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests beneath the Altar become accessible. One holds the Holy Belt (All Ailment Null).

Opening all chests triggers a door glow, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, preserving levels, items, and equipment. While enemy strength increases, this shouldn't pose a significant challenge, particularly if all side quests are completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
