HoYoverse has unveiled exciting details about the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6 update, titled "Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age," launching October 23rd. This update transports players to the vibrant Penacony and its bustling Paperfold University.

What's New in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6?

Paperfold University is celebrating its anniversary, creating a lively campus atmosphere filled with club recruitment drives, music, and academic events. The highlight, however, is the introduction of Rappa, a new 5-star Galaxy Ranger character who also identifies as a ninja. Rappa's gameplay centers around ninjutsu, incorporating ninja mantras, scrolls, graffiti, and even rap elements. Her quest focuses on tracking down the villainous Evil Ninja Osaru. Her ultimate attack, Sealform Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade, features a first-person perspective, allowing players to slice through enemies and significantly reduce their Toughness.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 Events

The "Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription" event challenges players to manage a band for the Dreamlight Anniversary music party, collaborating with Rappa to deliver an unforgettable performance. Limited 5-star characters Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine will also return in the warp event during both halves of the update.

Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6 also brings a substantial update to the Simulated Universe. Following the success of Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears, the third DLC, "The Unknowable Domain," introduces a massive void connected to post-Second Emperor's War conflicts among scholars over the Scepter system—a powerful external thinking unit composed of inorganic bionic neurons. Players will collect Scepters, upgrade them using Components, build synergistic combinations, and confront a challenging final boss.
