The developers of Path of Exile 2 have released a noteworthy update, version 0.1.1c, bringing several enhancements and bug fixes to the game. Among the improvements, they addressed a critical issue where players could lose access to the Cartwalker Machine while transferring characters from solo leagues. Additionally, multiple bugs in the local co-op mode were resolved, ensuring that Player 2 can now interact properly with Player 1’s UI elements, particularly in higher-level maps. Another fix ensures smoother navigation between control points in co-op mode for Player 2.
Players can now enjoy up to five revival attempts in challenging areas like the Distorted Possessions zone, the battle against Olroth, the Source of the Fall, and the Essence of Nonexistence realm, with the number of attempts scaling based on the difficulty level. In The Mists, if a player falls before defeating the Host, they will respawn in the boss battle arena, restarting the fight.
Grinding Gear Games has also introduced a convenient feature allowing players to rename characters directly through the website. Despite some initial hiccups during the launch of Path of Exile 2, the developers remain committed to improving the game and continue to hold a strong presence on Steam charts.
