Overpowered Damage Build Impacts Server Performance

The current Diablo 4 season introduced new boss abilities that, when combined correctly, create an infinitely scaling damage effect that strains game servers. Content creator Macrobioboi demonstrated this overpowered combination on May 9th, showing how it decimates entire enemy groups using specific boss powers and a Legendary Aspect.

The build requires the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect, which applies a permanent Vulnerable status effect on enemies until their demise. This normally increases damage dealt, but interacts unexpectedly with other mechanics.

The Flesh Reaper's Disruption boss power attempts to stun enemies while removing Vulnerable status. However, Vampiric Curse maintains the Vulnerable effect, causing infinite stun loops. When combined with Varshan's Life Steal power dealing massive damage on each boss power activation, the game's calculation overload leads to noticeable server lag.

As demonstrated in popular YouTuber wudijo's gameplay footage, the screen becomes overwhelmed with visual effects and ability calculations while enemies remain permanently stunned. "The build creates an extreme number of simultaneous calculations," wudijo explained, "which naturally causes performance issues."

Blizzard hasn't yet addressed this performance-intensive build, leaving players free to experiment - at the cost of degraded server responsiveness.

Diablo 4's current Berserk manga collaboration introduces themed cosmetics, but their premium pricing has drawn criticism. While some free items are available through gameplay, the most authentic Berserk-themed content requires significant real-money investment.
