CoD: Black Ops 6 to Streamline Challenges with New Tracker

Treyarch is developing a much-requested feature for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6: in-game challenge tracking. This functionality, present in 2023's Modern Warfare 3, was notably absent from Black Ops 6 at launch, leaving players frustrated.

While a release date remains unannounced, the feature's development was confirmed via a recent Twitter response from Treyarch. This coincides with Season 2's impending arrival later this month, suggesting a potential inclusion in an upcoming content update.

The January 9th Black Ops 6 update included various bug fixes and improvements to multiplayer and Zombies modes. A key change was the reversal of controversial Zombies adjustments from the January 3rd update, addressing community concerns regarding extended round times and zombie spawn delays in Directed Mode.

Challenge Tracking: A Game Changer

The addition of challenge tracking will significantly improve the player experience, particularly for those pursuing Mastery camos. Mirroring Modern Warfare 3's implementation, players should expect a live in-game tracker, providing real-time progress updates on selected challenges without needing to exit a match.

Further Improvements on the Horizon

Treyarch also confirmed the development of separate HUD settings for Multiplayer and Zombies modes, addressing player requests for more customizable gameplay experiences. This feature is also "in the works," indicating a commitment to enhancing Black Ops 6 based on player feedback.
