Nu Udra's Weak Points and Effective Tactics:
- Known Habitats: Oilwell Basin
- Breakable Parts: Head and Arms (severing arms yields extra materials)
- Elemental Weakness: Fire (use Watermoss to mitigate fire attacks)
- Effective Status Effects: Poison (2x), Sleep (2x), Paralysis (1x), Blastblight (1x), Stun (2x), Exhaust (2x)
- Effective Items: Pitfall Trap, Shock Trap
Combat Strategies:
- Melee Weapons: Focus on attacking the tentacles for easier reach, but be cautious of their power.
- Ranged Weapons: Aim for the mouth (4-star weakness) for optimal damage. The head is a secondary target (3-star weakness to ammo).
- Watermoss: Essential for countering Nu Udra's fire attacks and the Fireblight debuff.
- Fire Resistance: Equip fire-resistant gear, such as the Quematrice armor set, or decorations like the Fire Res Jewel or Stream Jewel.
Avoiding Dangerous Attacks:
Nu Udra's grab attack is particularly dangerous. If grabbed, quickly use a knife to escape or utilize your Slinger to attack a weak point during the brief pause before the fire attack.
Capturing Nu Udra:
To capture Nu Udra, weaken it until the skull icon appears near its health bar. Set a Pitfall or Shock Trap, lure it in (using meat or by running behind the trap), and quickly use a Tranquilizer. You have approximately five seconds before it breaks free.

Multiplayer Advantage: Confronting Nu Udra solo is challenging; consider using multiplayer for a smoother hunt.
