Expanding your farm in *Fields of Mistria* is crucial for growth, but eventually, you'll need more space for crops and animals. Luckily, a farm expansion is available! This guide shows you how to unlock and build it.

The Farm Expansion, introduced in update v0.13.0, significantly increases your farm's size. It adds land across the river, perfect for new buildings and crops.

Purchase the expansion at the **Carpenter's Shop** on Eastern Road. While technically available in your first year, it requires significant progress.

To buy the expansion, you need to help the town reach **Rank 55** by earning Renown points. This rank also unlocks the Stone Refinery repair quest, necessary for obtaining some expansion materials.

Once Rank 55 is achieved, gather the required materials. This is a substantial investment, so be prepared for some farming!

How to Build the Farm Expansion in Fields of Mistria

Visit the Carpenter's Shop (Eastern Road). Select 'Farm Expansion' to see the requirements:

• 40,000 Tesserae: A significant sum requiring diligent gathering, farming, and quest completion. Explore mines, fish regularly, and donate to the Museum.
• 50 x Refined Stone: Requires repairing the Stone Refinery (unlocked at Town Rank 55) and the Inn.
• 50 x Hard Wood: The easiest to obtain. Use a Copper Axe to harvest large tree stumps (yielding 2 Hard Wood each). Balor's Cart (certain days) and Museum donations are also options.

Once you have all materials and Tesserae, return to the Carpenter's Shop and purchase the expansion. Your farm will expand eastward, complete with a new bridge!
