Week 2's challenge requires raising your Sim's Handiness skill to level 2 or higher, then repairing a broken object. The difficulty lies in locating a broken item. Instead of searching, intentionally break an object. While "pranking" an item works, it requires specific Sim traits. A simpler method is repeatedly using a cheap item until it breaks.

The Ambassador toilet is an inexpensive option. Using it approximately a dozen times will cause it to malfunction, becoming a "broken object." This can be done by your Sim or invited guests.

Repairing the broken object is simple once your Handiness skill reaches level 2. Select the "Repair" interaction on the broken item. After a short time, the repair is complete, fulfilling the challenge requirement.
