The *Call of Duty* Terminator event has dropped a game-changing attachment for the AEK-973: the Full Auto mod. This upgrade transforms one of *Black Ops 6*'s underdogs into a surprisingly potent weapon. Here's how to unlock it in both *Black Ops 6* and *Warzone*.

The AEK-973's Full Auto mod is a limited-time reward within *Black Ops 6*'s Season 2 Terminator event. You can unlock it until February 20th, after which it's expected to become available through the Armory Unlocks system. To obtain it, you'll need to participate in the event.

The Terminator event challenges players to collect Skulls. These are earned by getting eliminations in *Black Ops 6* Multiplayer and Zombies, or by opening loot caches in *Warzone*. You'll need 50 Skulls to unlock the Full Auto mod.

The fastest way to earn Skulls is by playing Zombies matches with the Rampage Inducer, leaving after Round 6 to repeat the process. Alternatively, Resurgence Solos in *Warzone*, focusing on quickly opening loot caches, offers a rapid Skull acquisition method.

How the Full Auto Mod Works

The Full Auto mod converts the AEK-973 from a burst-fire marksman rifle to a full-auto weapon firing 5.45 ammunition at a high rate. It also pairs well with the 5.45 Extended Mag for up to 45 rounds per magazine. However, it does reduce the AEK-973's damage and range.

Despite the damage reduction, the high rate of fire maintains a respectable time-to-kill. The mod doesn't affect handling or mobility, which remain slow due to the weapon's marksman rifle classification. Consider using attachments to improve handling and mobility, or utilize it at medium-to-long ranges as a battle rifle.
