Bennett Takes The Spotlight Again In Upcoming Genshin Impact 5.0 Livestream

The anticipation for Natlan in Genshin Impact is reaching fever pitch! Hoyoverse has announced the date for the Natlan special program, airing this Friday at 12:00 AM (UTC-4) on Twitch and YouTube. The program, titled "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn," promises exciting reveals, including official banners and free rewards.

The Bennett Surprise:

The big question: Why is Bennett, not Kachina, the free 4-star character? While many players expected a Natlan native like Kachina, Hoyoverse has opted for the popular adventurer, Bennett. Rumors suggest a Natlan connection for Bennett, making him a somewhat fitting choice. Acquiring him will require completing a world quest. This departure from the usual tradition of providing a free character from the new region for exploration is a notable change.

A Bounty of Free Wishes:

The free Primogems and wishes are the real draw! The initial estimate of 113 wishes has fluctuated, settling around 115 wishes. Completing all content in Version 5.0 will yield this amount. Even with less extensive gameplay, players can expect approximately 90 free wishes.

Version 5.0's launch on August 28th coincides with Genshin Impact's 4th anniversary, bringing additional rewards. A 7-day login event will offer ten fates, 1600 Primogems, a pet, and a gadget. Combining this with daily commissions, world quests, Spiral Abyss runs, and events, players could accumulate around 18,435 Primogems, equivalent to 115 wishes.
