Battlecruisers Is Celebrating Its 4th Anniversary with a Trans Edition Update

Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a bang, thanks to Mecha Weka's most expansive update yet—the 'Trans Edition.' This update introduces a wealth of new content that enriches both the single-player and multiplayer experiences in the game.

What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

The update brings three new cruisers into the mix: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, expanding your fleet options. Additionally, two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, are now available, along with two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, enhancing strategic gameplay.

Existing cruisers are getting a stylish overhaul with three new bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, allowing for more personalized customization.

In Skirmishes, you can now select from Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, adding variety to your battles. PvP matches have been updated with a new countdown start and aircraft trails that now match player colors, making for a more immersive experience.

Balancing changes are widespread, with some ships receiving buffs. For instance, the Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate have been boosted from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health has increased from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret’s damage has been enhanced from 40 to 60, though its range has been reduced from 19 to 16.

Visually, Battlecruisers now boasts underwater transparency, allowing you to admire the wreckage of your defeated foes. The sea itself has been given a new shading effect, and cruiser and ship destruction sequences are more spectacular than ever.

Played the Game Yet?

Since its debut in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates annually. The Trans Edition continues this tradition, adding more SideQuests and introducing a mysterious Battlefortress hidden in the South Pacific.

Set in a Flooded Earth in the year 2732, the game's world is populated solely by robots engaged in construction and warfare. As a player, you command your own Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to tackle a formidable array of enemies.
