Studio Wildcard has unveiled an updated content roadmap for ARK: Survival Ascended, detailing nearly two years of planned updates for the ARK: Survival Evolved remaster. Initially released in early access in late November 2023, ARK: Survival Ascended continues to receive regular content updates. The roadmap, released January 11th, spans until late 2026. The first major step is a technical patch upgrading the game to Unreal Engine 5.5, promising significant performance improvements and the return of Nvidia's frame generation. This update also lays the groundwork for individual DLC map downloads, streamlining the installation process.

Following the UE5 update, April 2025 will see the addition of a Fantastic Tame and a free Bison. A new premium map (details to be revealed later) arrives in June, followed by another Fantastic Tame and a community-voted free creature in August. 2026 focuses on the remastered Genesis expansions (Part 1 in April, Part 2 in August), each paired with a segment of Bob's True Tales. A free Fjordur Ascended map and three additional Fantastic Tames will also be released throughout the year. While this roadmap provides a high-level overview, Studio Wildcard hints at potential smaller surprises in the coming years.
