Adventure Time Revived: New Comic Sequel Debuts Spring 2025

Oni Press is bringing back the magic of Adventure Time with a new monthly comic book series launching in April 2025! This collaboration with Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products will continue the adventures of Finn and Jake in the Land of Ooo, picking up after the animated series finale.

Written by Nick Winn and illustrated by Winn and Derek Ballard, Adventure Time #1 kicks off a story arc titled "Best of Buds." Winn expressed his excitement about revisiting Ooo, stating it was a "joy and a challenge" to create something new while retaining the show's original charm.

Series editor Megan Brown shared enthusiasm for the project, highlighting the unique comic book history of the Land of Ooo and the creative team's ability to deliver a story filled with friendship, heart, and thrilling new challenges for Finn and Jake. She emphasized that "Best of Buds" is an ideal entry point for new readers and a satisfying return for longtime fans.
