Using the App and Scanner Together:

The app and FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner operate independently; signals are sent to either the phone or the scanner, not both simultaneously. To receive phone alerts, initiate the sensor via the app. For scanner alerts, initiate with the scanner. A scanner-initiated sensor can still be scanned using the phone.

Important Note: The app and scanner don't communicate directly. For complete data, scan the sensor with your chosen device every 8 hours; otherwise, reports will be incomplete. LibreView.com provides a centralized platform to view data from all your devices.
