Do You Know Famous People from All Over the World? Who are they?

This app features the 476 most recognizable figures in world history, including kings and queens, politicians, musicians, actors, and film directors. Can you identify whose portraits are displayed and collect all the stars across every level?

The lineup spans from Alexander the Great to Benjamin Franklin; Joan of Arc to Fred Astaire; Louis Armstrong to Winston Churchill.

This serves as both a History and Art quiz. The game is split into two Levels based on question difficulty:

• Level 1: Features 123 well-known personalities (Julius Caesar, Alfred Hitchcock, etc.)
• Level 2: Includes 122 more challenging figures to identify: Blaise Pascal, Igor Sikorsky, and numerous other influential philosophers, inventors, and rulers.

Additionally, there are four ‘professional’ themed levels:

1. Writers: William Shakespeare and Leo Tolstoy;
2. Composers: Johann Sebastian Bach and Leonard Bernstein;
3. Painters: Michelangelo, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Paintings (e.g., if you see the “Mona Lisa”, identify the artist as Leonardo da Vinci).
4. Scientists: Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin.

In every level, you can select from several game modes:

• **Spelling quizzes** (available in easy and hard variations).
• **Multiple-choice questions** (with 4 or 6 answer options). Remember, you only have 3 lives.
• **Time challenge**: Provide as many correct answers as possible within one minute. You must achieve over 25 correct responses to earn a star.

The app includes two learning tools for browsing celebrities without guessing:

• Flashcards: Offer brief biographical details and links to full encyclopedia entries.
• **Tables** organized by each level.

This application is translated into 24 languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, and many more. Ads can be removed via an in-app purchase.

This quiz showcases numerous images of legendary men and women from various epochs, countries, and cultures. I highly recommend this app to anyone interested in world history. Do you know what Thomas Edison or Ernest Hemingway looked like? Test your knowledge! We constantly update the app by adding new figures, bringing the total count of famous personalities to 476.
