Travel a millennium back in time and seize control of the world's destiny!
When a futuristic army time-travels a thousand years to conquer the past, their primitive adversaries prove more formidable than expected! Lead a global resistance with hundreds of warriors from diverse cultures. Focus on commanding a single hero or zoom out to orchestrate entire armies with a swipe. This game masterfully blends grand strategy with hands-on, interactive battles for the ultimate experience. Just when you think victory is secure, history might just have a surprise in store...
UPGRADES
While the core game is free, optional upgrades let you tailor your campaign—choose your faction and starting territory. Unleash chaos in fantasy battles that pit any two cultures against each other with as many units as your device can handle! You can even edit every character in the world, though please note the game dynamically manages up to 1,000 characters at a time.
CONTROLS
When controlling an individual unit, choose between the "Classic" one-handed system or "Dual Wield" for independent hand controls. If you're new to the series, simply pause the action by tapping the timeline to access a detailed "Controls" guide. Also, watch for in-game hints from scrolls and books you discover.
Switch control between team members anytime by tapping their health bar or pointing directly at them on the battlefield. Use the arrows at the screen's bottom to enter "Commander" mode, where you direct units by swiping from their position to a target. They'll interpret your command—whether to move, attack, or collect an item—though they'll act according to their own priorities and abilities.
Regardless of your device or control scheme, you can always zoom the view in or out with a pinch gesture at the screen's center.
MAP
In the main "Campaign" mode, expand your territory by moving units between connected regions. You can "fortify" a held area or launch an attack on a rival's land. Note that only 50% of a territory's units can travel, making invasions more challenging than defense.
Inhabited territories gain population after each round, so controlling more land is key. Units also heal gradually over time, so rotating your active fronts each turn is a sound strategy.
PERFORMANCE
Please be aware this is my most ambitious game to date and may require a high-end device for optimal performance. To improve framerate, consider lowering the "Population" setting to reduce on-screen characters or adjust options in the "Display" menu.
There's far more depth to this game than I can possibly detail here—I hope you relish discovering its secrets on your own!
