Recent leaks suggest a surprising development regarding the upcoming Pokémon Generation 10 games. Instead of a sole release on the Nintendo Switch 2, as many anticipated, the games may launch on both the original Nintendo Switch and its successor.
Initial speculation heavily favored a Switch 2 exclusive release, particularly given the performance issues plaguing Pokémon Scarlet and Violet on the original Switch hardware. The open-world design of Gen 9 proved demanding, leading fans to believe Game Freak would prioritize the Switch 2's enhanced capabilities for the next generation.
