Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix Debut in Pokémon Sleep

Get Ready for a Snowy Holiday in Pokémon Sleep with Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix!

The Pokémon Sleep app is celebrating the winter holidays with a special event featuring two adorable new additions: Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix! Joining Eevee in its festive Santa hat, these Pokémon will be available for a limited time.

When to Catch Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix:

The Holiday Dream Shard Research event kicks off the week of December 23rd, 2024. Both Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix will appear starting at 3 PM on December 23rd. Expect boosted encounter rates throughout the event week, and remember, shiny versions will also be available!

Catching Pawmi:

Pawmi, along with its evolutions Pawmo and Pawmot (Snoozing sleep type), will appear on Greengrass Isle, Snowdrop Tundra, and Old Gold Power Plant. Your best bet for encountering them is achieving a Snoozing sleep type (a light sleep, the most common type). A Balanced sleep type might also work, but with reduced odds. Remember, you can only study their sleep styles through wild encounters, though evolution via Candies is possible.

Catching Alolan Vulpix:

Alolan Vulpix and its evolution, Alolan Ninetails (Slumbering sleep type), are slightly more challenging to find. They'll only appear on Snowdrop Tundra. To increase your chances, aim for a Slumbering sleep type (a deep sleep lasting at least 8 hours). While a Balanced sleep type is possible, the probability is lower.

Best Island for the Holiday Event:

For the highest chance of catching both Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix, Snowdrop Tundra is your best bet. However, be aware that this island often requires a strong team, so prepare accordingly!
